New puppies are, to an extent, a blank canvas and malleable. As such they’re easier to train compared to an older dog with deep learned behaviours and experiences. The critical period for puppy training and socialisation is from 4 to 16 weeks. From 4 to 16 weeks puppies are highly receptive to learning and forming lasting impressions about the world. New puppy owners should capitalise on this period by not delaying the commencement of foundation training when they bring their puppy home.
These sessions aim to be informative, provide knowledge that brings understanding of what’s going on in the mind of the puppy as it grows into adulthood. You’ll learn the requirements for responsible dog ownership in the UK and the legislation affecting ownership and your dog. I teach essential, proper dog training that sets you and your dog up for future success and happiness.
